Roger Dale Thetford

Roger Dale Thetford, 71, of Stephenville, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Fort Worth.

Memorial Services will be held at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 6th at 11:00 am.

Dale was born on August 12, 1950 in Hamilton to the late S.C. and Jane Griffis Thetford. He married Pam McCarty on November 11, 1972 at the Carlton Baptist Church, and together they raised two children. Dale worked at Walmart automotive where he made many friends. He has resided in Stephenville since 1980 and was a member of Harvey Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Thetford of Stephenville; daughter, Terri Waltz and husband Travis of Killeen; son, Stephen Thetford and wife Melinda of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Abby and Kaylee Waltz; Katelyn, Clara, and Cannon Thetford; brother, Floyd Thetford of Katy; and sister-in-law, Barbara Thetford of Carlton.  Dale’s family was his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, S.C. and Jane Thetford; and a brother, James Thetford.
