Rocky Rhoades

Rocky Rhoades, 60, of Bluff Dale, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Bluff Dale. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 24th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Glenn Cemetery in Bluff Dale. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Rocky was born on June 5, 1951, in Stephenville to Johnny and Frances Fallin Rhoades. He married Cheryl McCormick on August 10, 1991 in Bluff Dale. Rocky was a member of the Bluff Dale Baptist Church, and loved playing in the Sr. Citizen Softball League. Rocky was a lifelong resident of Bluff Dale, and he was a gas plant operator. Rocky is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Zach and wife Lindsey Schramm of Iola, Kristy and husband Brad Fiebig of Mansfield, Kristi Schramm of Stephenville, and Kacy and husband Justin Warren of Katy; father, Johnny Rhoades of Bluff Dale; brother, Rusty and wife Marla Rhoades of Bluff Dale; grandchildren, Kyle, Chelsea, Micah, Ally, Abree, Kennedy, and Harper; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and a great nephew. Rocky was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Rhoades; and by a brother, Rick Rhoades. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Bluff Dale Volunteer Fire Dept. or to the Bluff Dale Baptist Church.
