Morgan Mill Robert Curtis Rasberry, 73, of Morgan Mill, died Monday, September 10, 2012 in Stephenville. Visitation will be held, with the Rasberry Family, Wednesday evening, September 12th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. A memorial service for Robert will be set at a later date. Robert Curtis Rasberry was born on December 1, 1938 in Stephenville to the late Curtis Fredrick and Leatice Reagan Rasberry. He married October 27, 1956 in Stephenville to Renois Spencer. Robert began his career in farming and ranching. He was employed in Abilene over 29 years with Greyhound Buslines, and retired after 10 years with the TDCJ system. After his retirement he returned to Morgan Mill to continue ranching. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County, and had lived most of his life in Erath and Taylor Counties. Robert is survived by his wife, Renois; sons, Robert Jeff and wife Carol Rasberry of Merkel, and Randall Craig and wife Denise Rasberry of Naselle, Washington; daughter, Jeanette Christine Ramburg of Homer, Alaska; granddaughters, Jill Santiago of Seattle, Washington, Jennifer Strange of Orange, California, Amanda Rasberry of Boise, Idaho, Breanna Rasberry of Abilene, and Mikayla Blevins of Abilene; great granddaughters, Maya, Zelda, Lily, and Elsa; sisters, Vivian Christian of Stephenville and Ruby Rasberry of Weatherford; and several nieces and nephews. Robert was also preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Melton and Marie Lowe. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
