Robert ‘Bill' McCoy April 3, 1930 - February 27, 2018 Robert ‘Bill' McCoy, 87 of Stephenville, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Stephenville Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 2nd at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leon Cliff officiating. Burial will follow at Nancy Smith Cemetery, near Glen Rose. Bill was born on April 3, 1930 to the late D. W. and Minnie Stewart McCoy. He was a member of the Baptist Church, and was a life long resident of Stephenville. He spent many years working for Barnes and McCullough Lumberyard. Bill was preceded in death by parents; his two wives, Bobbie Louise Eoff McCoy and Nell Thiebaud McCoy; sisters, Lillian Burns and Lela Hyles; and by brothers, Raymond McCoy and Walter McCoy. Survivors include his children, Ray and wife Paula McCoy of Dublin, Gail and husband Ken Ainsworth of Dublin, Cathy McCoy Clark of Dublin, Jerri and husband Steve Mantgomery of DeLeon, and Robert McCoy, Jr. of DeLeon; step-children, Connie Nelson, Ava Lutsko, Steven Thiebaud, Christy Burney; grandchildren,Tara Eakins, Sharay Hicks, Amanda Richards, David Blackshear, Robert Clark, Danny Clark, and Letha Montgomery; step-grandchildren, Lauren Sampley, and Alana Burney; 22 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; and 3 nephews.
