Robert William ‘Bill' Crenshaw, 72, of Stephenville, died Monday, September 21, 2009, in Stephenville. Military Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 24, 2009, at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Visitation will be 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Bill was born August 19, 1937, in Madisonville Kentucky to the late Ben and Inda Stacey Crenshaw. He married Martha Darlene Griffin, May 11, 1965 in Fort Worth. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Airforce. He loved music and songwriting, and was founder and builder of the 281 Speedway. He lived in Fort Worth from 1957 until he moved to Stephenville in 1989. Bill was an automechanic. He is survived by his wife Martha Darlene; sons, David and wife Lynn Crenshaw of Crowley, and Michael and wife Sherry Crenshaw of Fort Worth; grandson, Caleb Crenshaw; granddaughters, Amanda Crenshaw, Ashley Crenshaw, and Emily Crenshaw; sister, Grace Morgan of Madisonville, Kentucky; brothers, John Crenshaw of Madisonville, Kentucky, Ben Crenshaw of Henderson, Kentucky, and James Arms of Westchester, Pennsylvania He was preceded in death by a brother Henry Crenshaw.
