Robert Earl Buttrey, Jr. September 11, 1980 ~ August 14, 2017 Robert Earl Buttrey, Jr., 36, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Chandra Thompson officiating. Robert was born on September 11, 1980 in Picayune, Mississippi, to Andrea Hobson Shipman and his father Johnny D. Shipman. He was married to Branda Elizabeth Cason and had three children with one on the way. He worked in business management. He was a resident of Stephenville, TX for two and a half years. Survivors include his wife, Branda Elizabeth Cason of Stephenville; children, Jim Teague, Blake Hobson, Scarlett Michelle Hobson, and soon to be born, Oren Robert Alexander Hobson; mother, Andrea Shipman of Stephenville; sister, Chandra Thompson of Glen Rose; Grandmother, Nellie Hobson; special nephew, Anthony Parker of Glen Rose; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Shipman and grandfather, Billy Hobson.
