Robert "Bob" Baker

Robert "Bob" Baker, 79, of Stephenville passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Conway Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 3 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Fraley and Aaron Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Pony Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Bob was born on September 6, 1934 to the late William Arthur and Mellie Lucille Combs Baker in Quinlan, TX. He served in the United States Air Force. Bob married Judy Senter on January 26, 2002 in Stephenville. He was retired and had worked at Bruner Motors and served for 9 years as Pastor of Pony Creek Baptist Church. Bob was a supporter of St. Judes Childrens Hospital and Compassion International. Bob is survived by his wife, Judy of Stephenville; sons, Robert Baker of Washougal, WA, Michael G. Baker and wife Amber of Chugiak, AK, Shannon Baker and wife Gini of Hope Mills, NC, C.J. Stewart of Stephenville, TX; daughters, Jennifer and husband Derrel Westover of Conway, AR, Melinda and husband Chad Caten of Forney, TX, Shally and husband James Elston of Ozona, TX, Terry Baker-Bishop; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
