Rhoda A. Anderson

Rhoda A. Anderson, 102, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at Mulberry Manor Nursing Home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home Rhoda was born August 28, 1905, in the Duffau Community. She married H. Lloyd ‘Andy' Anderson on July 1, 1925 in Stephenville. He preceded her in death September 3, 1990. She was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. She also served many years as a volunteer with the Harris Methodist Hospital Auxillary, and was active for many years in the Stephenville Senior Citizens. Rhoda was a seamstress, working over 30 years with Bealls Department Store in Stephenville. She is survived by her son, James Lloyd Anderson of Stephenville; daughters, Janette Goodman of Stephenville and Rebecca Hasenbeck of Houston; 6 grandchildren, Kenneth and wife Ardis Hasenbeck, Eddie Goodman, Kenneth and wife Christy Anderson, Deborah and husband George Small, Frances and husband Greg Raymond, and Catherine Bullock; 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lola Marie Hasenbeck; and a granddaughter, Tammy Underwood.
