Ralph Emmitt Reeves Jr.

Ralph Emmitt Reeves, Jr., 65, of Stephenville passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Stephenville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Richard Chapman officiating. Ralph was born August 2, 1952 in San Diego, California to the late Ralph Emmitt Reeves, Sr. and Anne Axtell Reeves. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force as a medic. He earned an Associate's degree in Nursing from Angelo State University. He was a long time resident of Stephenville, having previously lived in San Angelo and Florida. Ralph worked at Tarleton State University and was married to Lisa Power Reeves till her death in 2012. Survivors include his children, James Reeves and wife Kathryn of San Antonio, Virginia Swinehart and husband Jeremy of San Angelo, Megan Reeves of Plano; step-children, Jarrod Power and wife Sarah of San Antonio and Mallory Cross and Josh Brown of Stephenville, Grandchildren; James, Christian, Wyatt, Owen, and Sarah Reeves; sister, Robin Reeves of Mountlake Terrace, Washington; He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lisa, 2 sisters; Leslie and Jessie and nephew Jason.
