R. D. "Red" Riley

Red Riley, 93, of Temple passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 in Temple. Funeral Service for Red will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas. Red was born on March 4, 1920, to the late William Franklin Riley and Beulah June Davis in Lingleville, Texas. Red married Oleta Carroll on May 6, 1943 in Stephenville, Texas. He was a World War II Veteran and worked for the Naval Air Station in Almeda, CA where he retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of N.A.R.F.E. (National Active and Retired Federal Employees Associations) Red is survived by his wife, Oleta of Temple, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Estalene Skidmore of Houston, TX; many beloved family, extended family, and dear friends.
