R C Bills, 83, of Stephenville, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 17th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with David Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. R C was born on August 6, 1929 in Erath County to the late Samuel Loransy and Pearl Marie Gazaway Bills. He married Lucille Pack on August 18, 1951 in Erath County. R C was a building contractor, a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ, and a lifelong resident of Erath County. R C is survived by his wife, Lucille; sons, Roy and wife Karen Bills of Stephenville and Danny Bills of Stephenville; daughter, Vickie and husband Jimmy Russell of Lubbock, grandchildren, Valarie Russell of Stephenville, Jennifer Russell of Omaha, Nebraska, Brandon and wife Dusty Bills, Britten and husband Jeramie Meador, Bret Bills, and Scarlett Bills all of Stephenville; great grandchildren, Trinity, Kennedy, Tiffany, and Lauren Meador, Tucker, Livie, Kynlea, Kaleb, and McKenna Bills; sister-in-law, Joyce Bills of Duncanville; and brother-in-law, Fred McIntosh of Sabinal. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Foster's Home for Children, or to the Hillcrest Church of Christ.
