R. J. Bays

R.J. Bays, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Lingleville East End Cemetery with Richmond Goolsby officiating. R.J. was born on December 6, 1932 to the late Louis Vernon and Maggie Kelley Bays in Lingleville, TX. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably in the Korean War. After the war he went to work for the Civil Service as an aircraft engine mechanic until he retired. He was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees, National Machinist Association and the USS Bayfield Veterans Association. R.J. is survived by several nieces and nephews.
