Price "Doc" Moody

Price "Doc" Moody, 76, of Gordon, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in Gordon. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sap Oak Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Price was born July 30, 1933 in the Sap Oak Community to James Price and Ruth Vivian Moody. He married Peggy Ragle and was a lifelong resident of Erath County. Price was a member of the Boilermakers Union building holding tanks and he was also a rancher. Price served in the U.S. Army and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Moody of Gordon; sons, Colby Moody of Gordon and Wade Moody and wife Misty of Odessa; grandchildren, Amber Marie Moody, Candace Paige Moody, Cole Moody, Tracy Dawn Moody, Bailey Nicole Moody, and Gaige Moody; brother, James Robert Moody of Devine; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Billie Moody.
