Prentice Lee Philips

Prentice Lee Philips, 78, of Stephenville, left us to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Interment will follow at the Lingleville East End Cemetery in Lingleville under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, December 19, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home. Prentice was born on August 25, 1930 in Huckabay, Texas to the late Delbert and Maudie Harrison Philips. He married Margie Rea Haynes on Nov. 4, 1949 in Stephenville. Prentice was in the dairy business in Lingleville, from 1953 to 1997. He was a member of Graham St. Church of Christ and formerly served on the Lingleville ISD school board for many years. Prentice was a dedicated husband and father of three children. Survivors: wife of 59 years Margie Rea Philips; son, Kenny Philips and wife Darlene; daughter, Sandra Caudle and husband Ricky , his beloved grandchildren, Todd and Jessica Philips, Jody Lee Caudle, Kevin and Tonja Philips; Cheryl and Jeremy Vandyke, Candiss Caudle, Keith Philips; Jessica Bradshaw; Jarrett and Nikole Bradshaw; Jennifer Bradshaw; Chad Lingle and his great-grandchildren, Kryssi Pena; Cheyenne Philips; Ray Pena; Taylor Vandyke; Allyson Philips; Ciara Philips; Jewell Caudle; Kason Philips; Kyler Philips; Kenlee Philips; Jolee Vandyke; Taryn Philips; Talon Philips; Ella Vandyke; Kooper Philips; Kelly Porter; Jude Bradshaw and Shelby Lingle.
