Peggy was born to Clifford Bates and Willie Mae Lockett on June 18, 1951, in Vernon Texas. She is a cherished member of the Lockett family and was one of ten siblings.  She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1969. After graduation, Peggy worked hard to become a registered nurse and was a devoted nurse to her family and her community for over 35 years.

In 1976, she married the love of her life, George Glover in a beautiful ceremony in Odell Texas. This marked the beginning of a shared life filled with love and devotion. Shortly after getting married, Peggy and George started their family and settled down in Stephenville Texas a few years later.

Peggy and George were faithful members of Graham Street Church of Christ were they were honored to work and serve for many years.

Peggy's love extends to her daughter, Jennifer Dittrich, son in law Greg Dittrich, grandsons Ryan and Lucas Dittrich of McKinney Texas, and so many coworkers, friends and family. She will be remembered for her nurturing soul, contagious smile and the genuine love that she poured into everyone.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents and her sister Nancy, Peggy's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her daughter, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, family, and a community that she dearly loved.

Peggy will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Basic Needs Ministry through Graham Street Church of Christ or The American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
