Pearl Lee Jones

Pearl Lee Jones, 89, of Bluff Dale, died Monday, January 17, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at Patillo Baptist Church in Patillo. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Pearl Lee was born on November 30, 1921 in the Sap Oak Community in Erath County to the late Charlie Patillo and Lena Russell York. She married Louis Milton Jones on December 23, 1939 in Morgan Mill. He preceded her in death, July 9, 1994. Pearl Lee was raised in Erath County, but after she and Louis Milton married, they moved to Leedey, Oklahoma where they spent most of their life, until they moved back to Erath County in 1992. Pearl Lee was a member of the Patillo Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Glenn and wife Linda Sue Jones of Bluff Dale; daughter, Lena and husband Royce McPherson of Patillo; daughter-in-law, Liz Jones of Goodwell, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Glenda Sue Daughrity, Cathy Crawford, Brian Jones, Riley McPherson, Terri Collins, Kimberly Lobbes, and Greg Jones; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides her parents and husband, Pearl Lee was preceded in death by a son, James M. Jones; and by a granddaughter, Sherri Lee McPherson. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the donor's favorite charity.
