Pauline Wood Mitchell

Pauline Wood Mitchell, 91, of Stephenville, died Monday, October 29, 2007, at Community Nursing Home in Stephenville. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, at Rock Church Cemetery in Hood County. Pauline was born October 15, 1916, in Hood County to the late Virgil and Lou Ellen Osborn Wood. She married Levi Mitchell, December 24, 1938, in Tolar. He preceded her in death January 23, 1993. Pauline was a retired seamstress working for Tackett Manufacturing and L & L Manufacturing. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and had lived most of her life in Erath County. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Pat Mitchell of Stephenville and Barbara & Melvin Bertrand of Pottsboro; 3 grandchildren, Stephen and wife Icela Bertrand, Sarah and husband Terry Tschoepe, and Mishael and husband Brandon Berger; 3 great grandchildren, Valerie Ramirez, Jordan Bertrand, and Savannah Tschoepe; brother, W. S. and wife Faye Wood of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mable Scott of Abilene and Frances Bridges of Fort Worth; a sister-in-law, Norma Wood of Glen Rose; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers
