Patsy Ruth Kinsey

Patsy Ruth Kinsey, 78, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Memphis, Indiana.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Bishop Cemetery in Lipan.

Patsy was born on June 24, 1943 in Brownfield, Texas to the late Loyd Sparks and to Neoma Huston Yates. She married James Thurl Kinsey, Sr. on June 17, 1961 in Stephenville and he preceded her in death on June 4, 1986. Patsy was a graduate of Stephenville High School and resided most of her life in Stephenville.

Survivors include her children, Paige Reed and husband Paul, Thurl Kinsey, Jr. and wife Teresa of Granbury, and Penny Colvin and husband Joseph of Memphis, Indiana; sister, Dorthy Shutter of Dublin; ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thurl Kinsey, Sr.; mother and step-father, Neoma Huston and J.D. Yates; and father, Loyd Sparks.
