Patrick Henry Stephens

Patrick Henry Stephens, 68, of Huckabay, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 13, 2011 at Huckabay Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Huckabay Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Patrick was born on November 2, 1942 to Velma and Earl Matthew Stephens. He married Ronieva Charlene Smith on May 4, 1964 in Tarrant County, the H.E.B. area and she preceded him in death after 47 years of marriage on May 30, 2011. Patrick served in the U.S. Army and has resided in Erath County since 1980 after previously living in North Richland Hills. He worked for Appleton Electric for 22 years before retiring. He was a member of the Huckabay Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Ronieva Louise Davis; son, Ricky Bob Stephens; grandchildren, Karlene, Savannah, Briana, Robert, James, and Skyler; great-grandchildren, Makaila, Leileigh, and Nattilea; sisters, Mary Lou Bower of Florida, and Hazel Crane of Texas; and Frank Stephens of Lousiana. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
