Patricia Ann (Newby) Young

Patricia Ann Young April 2, 1944 - January 27, 2018 Patricia Ann Young, 73, of Stephenville, died Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 30th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Pete Pharis and Darrell Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Rest Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Patricia was born on April 2, 1944 in Burleson to the late Jack and Margaret Sanders Newby. She was a member of the Selden Baptist Church, and has lived the past 48 years in Erath County; moving here from Alvarado. Patricia was a seamstress, beloved mother and homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Wayland; children, Jarrell and wife Patty Dowell of Stephenville, Darla Gayle Dowell of Grapevine, John Barry Dowell of Dripping Springs, Debra LeAnn Dowell and husband David Hallmark of Stephenville, Tammy Young of Grapevine, and Kevin and wife Wendy Young of Grapevine; grandchildren, Trae and wife Kelci Dowell, Chelsea Dowell, Leah Dowell, John David Hallmark, Trent Young, and Brooke Young; great grandchildren, Landon Dowell, Layton Dowell, and Zayla Hallmark; sisters, Patsy Newby, and Peggy and husband Tom Stroko, brother, Phil and wife Paula Newby; and several nieces and nephews.
