Patricia "Pat" Lynn Brown

Pat Lynn Brown July 25, 1942 ~ August 15, 2016 Pat Lynn Brown, 74, of Gorman, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Denver Rainey officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to service, Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Pat was born on July 25, 1942 in Galveston, Texas to the late Robert and Marie Rice and was raised in Angleton. She was a comptroller at Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic for 20 years before retiring. Patricia lived in Stephenville for many years before moving to Gorman. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, David Brown; children, Toby Henson and wife Jai of Pineville, Missouri, Robin Cook and husband B. J. of Graham, Terri Shultz and husband Gerry of Ft. Worth, Marandy Dove of Stephenville, and David L. Brown, Jr. of Stephenville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Roly Rice and wife Lynda of Frisco, Ronnie Rice and wife Patricia of Fredericksburg; and sister-in-law Tootie Cavitt and husband Butch of Stephenville. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Don Brown.
