Pansy Haney

Pansy Mauldin Haney, 98, of Whitehouse, former longtime resident of Erath County, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in Whitehouse. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 25th at Liberty Cemetery with David Harris officiating. Under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Pansy was born January 30, 1911, in Gordon to the late Whitmore and Inez Henderson Mauldin. She married Elmo Haney, in Weatherford on January 19, 1946. He preceded her in death January 29, 1974. She worked several years at the Lipan ISD and Tarleton State University, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She lived most of her life in Erath County. She is survived by a son, David Haney and his wife Cathy of Whitehouse; daughter, Deborah Spears of Tyler; grandchildren, David Haney, II and wife Tara of Henderson, Chantel Ellis and husband David of San Antonio, Darby Spears and Rodney Spears both of Tyler; great grandchildren, Ryan Haney, Rhett Haney, Avery Ellis, and Amelia Ellis.
