Ouida Hise

Ouida Hise, 79, of Stephenville, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Dittfurth, officiating. Burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation with the Hise family will be held prior to services on Monday. Ouida was born January 13, 1930, in Lockney to Oscar and Frances Gilly Hammit. She married W. P. ‘Billy' Hise on June 22, 1947, in Haskell. He preceded her in death June 12, 2005. Ouida was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She lived in Haskell most of her life until she moved to Stephenville in 1999. Survivors include her children, Ann and husband Joe Reyes of Houston, Randy and wife Paula Hise of Haskell, Janna and husband Dickie Brendle of Stephenville, and Lesa and husband Royce Meier of Haskell; mother, Frances Hammit of Stephenville; grandchildren Joey Reyes, Cherish Bradshaw, Christopher Meier; Chad, Heath, and Kile Brendle; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Benjamin, Isabella, Brazos, Spencer, and Elizabeth; brothers, Wayne and wife Doris Hammit of Stephenville, Freddy and wife Audean Hammit of Granbury, and Melvin and wife Janet Hammit of Stephenville. She was preceded in death by a grandson Ryan Meier Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the charity of choice
