Orval W. Miller

Orval W. Miller, 78, died Friday, September 28, 2007, at Mulberry Manor Nursing Home in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 1, 2007 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County with Dr. Dan Murray officiating. Orval was born January 10, 1929 in Erath County to the late Jesse Lee and Opal Wood Miller. He married Gertrude Haley on July 24, 1946. Orval was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Miller of Stephenville, J. R. and Connie Miller of Stephenville; daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Joe Griffin of Stephenville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Lowell Wayne Miller of Virginia, Craig Miller of Fate, Texas and Harwood Miller of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and one sister, Ann Miller of Granbury. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister
