Norma Sue Savage

Norma Sue Savage of Weatherford, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 17th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday evening at the funeral home. Norma was born on October 5, 1933, in Stephenville, and served as a resident of Stephenville until the early 1980's. She and her husband Hubert have lived in Weatherford for the past 13 years. Norma had been active in the Stephenville community, was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, a Girl Scout Troop Leader, devoted wife for 62 years, and devoted mother and grandmother. Norma is survived by her husband, Hubert; son and daughter-in-law, Hubert, Jr and Norma Savage of Granbury; daughter, Twila Christy of Weatherford; sister, Shirley Blevins of Lubbock; grandsons, David Ash and Kevin Brock; granddaughters, Trista Ash and Erica Ledingham; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Lung Association of Texas.
