Norma Jane (Pack) Mcdonald

Norma Jane McDonald, 68 of Stephenville passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

Graveside services for Jane will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8 at Oak Dale Cemetery with Doug McLemore officiating.  Visitation with Jane’s family will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Jane was born on April 16, 1953 in Stephenville, to the late W. F. ‘Jay’ and Lola Baker Pack.  She attended school at Huckabay, and was a member of the 1971 Huckabay High School graduating class.  While attending school at Huckabay, Jane won the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Award.  On September 3, 1983, in Stephenville, Jane married Billy McDonald.  Jane loved the outdoors.  She loved growing flowers, and feeding her Hummingbirds.  She loved her family, and was very proud to be Lola’s grandmother.  A lifelong resident of Stephenville, Jane attended church at the Huckabay Church of Christ.  Jane worked at Bealls Department Store, and also Stephenviille Bank and Trust (First Financial Bank).

Jane is survived by her husband, Billy; daughter, Ashli McDonald; daughter, Janae and husband Chris Smith, step-son Craig and wife Angela McDonald; step-daughter, Michelle McDonald Hoffman; grandchild, Lola Smith, and several other grandchildren; brother, Roger and wife Bonnie Pack; sister, Sherry and husband Billy Baskett; niece Shanna and husband Reuben Mankin; nephew, David Basket; and many other great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Jane was also preceded in death by a nephew, Brent Pack.
