Nelda B. Eggen

Nelda B. Eggan, 95, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday August 14, 2012 in Stephenville. Services for Nelda will be held Thursday August 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Konz officiating. Interment will follow at Norse Cemetery, Bosque County. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Nelda was born September 24, 1916 to Albert Jahns and Paulina Albrecht in Lyons Texas. Nelda married Amos A. Eggan on June 28, 1941 in Pottsville Texas and he preceded her in death on October 28, 1996. Nelda retired from S&H Green stamp store and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Nelda is survived by her Son In-law Lyndal Cook of Snyder and a granddaughter Jennifer Cook of Stephenville Texas. Nelda was preceded in death by her daughter Lynda Cook and 5 brothers and 1 sister. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Building Fund, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, or American Diabetes Association.
