Nancy Byrd

Nancy Byrd, 60, of Patillo, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Patillo Baptist Church with Wayne Ford and Doug Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery at Patillo. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Nancy was born on April 10, 1951 in San Angelo to the late George and Leta June Young Yarbrough. She married Richard Byrd on March 3, 1973 in San Angelo. Nancy was a member of the Patillo Baptist Church, and had lived in Patillo since 1976. She was a retired bank teller. Survivors include her husband, Richard; sons, Sam and wife Krissey Byrd of Stephenville and Scott and wife Nikki Byrd also of Stephenville; daughter, Tracey and husband Trey Haggard of Brock; grandchildren, Jake, Reese, Kate, Addie, and Kinley; brother, Jimmy and wife Patti Yarbrough of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Susan Yarbrough of Weatherford. Nancy was preceded in death by an infant son, Tommy Jack Byrd; and by two brothers, Tommy and Dean Yarbrough Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Patillo Baptist Church.
