The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday November 8th at Stephenville Funeral Home Myrna was born September 19th, 1939 in New Mexico to Jim and Elizabeth Armstrong. She graduated from Aztec high school in 1957. Myrna was a nurse and a businesswoman. She married O'Farrell ‘Pal' Thompson on September 26, 1957 in Aztec, New Mexico. Together they raised 3 children; Tamela, Candiss, and Randy. After years of travelling the world working on oil and gas pipelines, they started Pal-Con in 1995. Myrna, ‘Mimi', was the epitome of strength. She was strong in her faith, strong in her love for her family and strongly fought for her life until the very end. Her exterior was much like a warrior, she believed passionately in her morals, values, and beliefs and would uphold them to any degree necessary. But her interior was much softer and kind-hearted. She was generous beyond measure, always had a beautiful smile and warm hug to share with everyone she came in contact, and made the most delicious pork chops that mankind has ever known. Myrna was pillar in her community and a very active part of the Church of God in Granbury. She was blessed to have a life-long true love story with her husband, Pal, and finally can rejoice and be at peace now that they had their glad reunion day. "Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure." Myrna is survived by her children, Tamela Mund and husband Arthur of Tolar, Candiss Thompson of Acton, Randy Thompson and wife Renee of Bluff Dale; her grandchildren, Justin Mund and wife Stacey of Ft. Worth, Cutter Thompson of Keller, Jerod Mund of Acton, Casi Thompson of Acton, Jock Mund of Austin, Tanner Thompson and wife Amanda of Bluff Dale, Tayler Thompson of Stephenville and Tashli Wilson and husband Jason of Stephenville; great-Grandchildren, Lexi, Cade, Cutter, Cain, Edge, Cruz, Karahli, Slayter, Kodi, Ever, Ali, Khyson, and Keller; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.. She also leaves behind one sister Jean Shorter of Farmington, NM
