Mitchell Lavan "Mitch" Walker

Mitchell "Mitch" Lavan Walker, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Stephenville. Memorial Service in Mitch's honor was held September 14, 2013 at his home in Stephenville. Mitchell was born in Porterville, California on July 7, 1957. He worked as a self-employed carpenter. He loved the outdoors, fishing and enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers and rooting for the San Francisco 49ers. Mitchell is survived by his wife of 24 years Betty of Stephenville; Daughters, Jeannie and Katherine Walker of Stephenville, daughter Nicole Rosier and son Donald Roberts of Colorado; mother, Jean Hicks of Lipan; sister Terri Olivera of Lipan; brother Donald Hicks of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Hicks, brother Marty Walker, aunt and Uncle Raymond and Helen Deerman.
