Mildred Fulfer Moring, 93, beloved mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday August 2, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday evening at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Exray Cemetery of Erath County under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Mildred was born January 4, 1915 in Erath County to the late Bert and Dove McInroe Fulfer. She married Vance Moring on March 27, 1936 in Erath County. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1985. This loving Christian woman was a lifelong member of Hannibal Methodist Church. She was always known as a hard worker, helping her husband Vance run a farm and dairy business. Mildred was a salesperson for Cox Dept. Store and the Barracks. She retired from her job at Wal-Mart when she was 84 years old. She was a 50 year member of the Order of The Eastern Star, having held the office of Worthy Matron twice. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Bailey, Peggy Hartsfield and husband Laguin; son Ronnie Moring and wife Carol; step-daughter, Sue Adams and husband Shorty, all of Stephenville; brothers, Elmo Fulfer and wife Susie of Cleburne; Henry Fulfer and wife Billie of Jal, NM; sisters, Barbara Kay of Fritch; and Edna Kuykendall of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Denise Hooks, Darrell Bailey, Vickie Dixon, Michelle Gooch, Matt Moring, Ginny Rodgers, Lloyd Earl Adams, Rhonda Holman, Deborah Adams Stevens, Dusty Moring, Barbara Foos, Patricia Moring; eighteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two step-sons, Sherwin and Joe Ray Moring; two sisters, Inez Gordon, and Bernice Stewart; three brothers, Elvis, Ralph and Tucker Fulfer; one grandson Stephen Moring and one great-grandson, Riley Moring.
