Mildred Lee Moore Bishop

Mildred Lee Moore Bishop, 91, of Stephenville, died Friday, January 02, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2009 in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Bob Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the East Memorial Cemetery. Mildred was born April 26, 1917 in Erath County to Alfred Madison and Mattie Estelle Grace Fleming Moore. She married William Bradford Bishop on September 7, 1933 in Comanche. He preceded her in death in November 2, 1996. She lived all her life in Erath County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Mildred is survived by her 2 sons, Jack Lee Bishop and Jay Dee Bishop; daughter, Jennie Mae Cherry; sister, Winnie Browning, all of the Cedar Point Community. She has 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Billie JoAnn Bishop.
