Michael 'L C' Winston Boren

Michael ‘LC’ Winston Boren, 70, of Stephenville, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.

Visitation Service for LC will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, June 15th at Stephenville Funeral Home. There will not be a funeral service.

Mike, LC, was born on August 3, 1953, in Stephenville to the late Clyde Winston and Jeannette Cordray Boren.  Mike attended public school in Stephenville, and graduated from Stephenville High School, class of 1971.  He went on to receive his accounting degree from Tarleton State University in 1976.  On December 9, 1994, in Stephenville, Mike married Cindy Biggs Patterson.  LC worked fifteen years with Exxon/Mobil as a pumper but spent most of his life as a dairyman and a cattle raiser.  LC was “larger than life”. He cherished his wife and sons more than life itself, and he did all he could for them. He loved spending time with his family and all his friends. He loved to play golf and go to the casinos.  Mike was a lifelong resident of Stephenville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cindy, and sons Reese, Charlie and wife Kathryn; sisters Barbara Boren Wells, Alice Boren Dardis and husband Van; in-laws, Les and Alicia Patterson; other family members, Stacey, Darren, and James Grant; and several nieces and nephews.

The Boren family wish expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Erath County Humane Society.
