Michael Marvin Mayall

April 12, 1939 — August 23, 2011

Michael Marvin Mayall, Ed.D. passed away August 23, 2011. He was born April 12, 1939 in Spokane, WA to Dr. Stanley E. and Mary Marvin Mayall. He received his B.A. from Central Washington University, MA/Ed. from Eastern Washington University, and Ed.D. from North Texas University. He began his teaching career in 1960 and relocated to Texas in 1966 teaching at El Centro College in Dallas until his move to the opening of the Northeast Campus of TCC in 1968. Mike was Chairman of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Psychology and earned all professorial ranks from instructor through full-professor and retired Professor Emeritus of Psychology in 1998. Celebration of Life: Friends are invited to join the family for a casual celebration at 11:00 A.M., September 3, 2011, Charter House At Lake Pointe, 959 Charterhouse Circle, Granbury, Texas (located behind WalMart). Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of choice or to The Glenn Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 163, Bluff Dale, TX 76433. Mike married Charlotte Bramlett Caldwell May 2, 1970 and the two enjoyed RV'ing from coast to coast and Canada. Family and everyone he met knew him for his humor, sharp wit and love of life. Survivors: Wife, Charlotte, brother, Mark, children, Scot, Patrick, Kathleen, step-daughter, Michelle, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncle, nieces, and cousins.
