Michael Ray Martin

Michael Ray Martin, 48, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 7th at Stephenville Funeral Home with Jerry Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Nancy Smith cemetery, near Glen Rose. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Mike was born July 17, 1961 in Stephenville to R. D. and Betty Boatner Martin. He was a factory worker, working for FMC and Fibergrate. Mike was a member of the Baptist Church, and a life long resident of Erath County. He is survived by his four daughters, Mandi and husband Sterling Doty of Abilene, Randi Martin of Stephenville, Micah Martin of Brownwood, and Monica Martin of Bangs; grandson, Cooper Doty; and his mother Betty Martin of Granbury. He was preceded in death by his father, R. D. Martin in 2001.
