Michael Dennis Lloyd

Stephenville Michael Dennis Lloyd, 64 of Stephenville, died Friday, December 24, 2010 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 29, 2010 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Elgin. Visitation will be Monday Dec. 28, 2010 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Mike was born March 25, 1946 in Burbank, CA, to Charles & Evelyn Lloyd. He married Judy Mogonye on March 24, 1990. Mike was in the dairy business in Arizona, and Texas for 30 yrs. and was instrumental in bringing many aspects of the dairy industry to the Erath County area. Mike loved being a father to his sons and dedicated himself to giving them a life of happy memories. He loved animals of all shapes. Mike was loved by many good friends and family. He was also a Real Estate agent, and broker, and a rancher for over 30yrs. Mike is survived by his wife, Judy; three sons, Scott & wife Tonya of Lockhart, Rob & wife Sally of Stephenville, and David & wife Erin, of Godley. Mike is also survived by his mother, Evelyn Lloyd of Independence, OR; and a brother, Gary & wife Lynn of Stephenville; numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Colby, Jenna, Stephen, Matthew, Aiden, & Rebekah Lloyd, and Rachel Young. Also surviving, mother-in-law, Janelle Mogonye; brothers-in-law, Roger, & wife Suzanne, & Tracy & wife Joyce, all of Elgin. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; a brother, Steven; and nephew, Roger.
