Michael Edwin "Mickey" Belew

Michael Edwin ‘Mickey' Belew, 47 of Dublin, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Fort Worth Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Dublin Memorial Football Stadium in Dublin, with Jimmy Holleman and Herman Merritt, officiating. Burial will follow at the New Dublin, Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Mickey was born on February 17, 1967 in Hico to Butch and Carolyn Rowe Belew. He married Anna Mae Boudreau on September 23, 2006 in Weatherford. Mickey graduated from Dublin High School class of 1985. He attended church at Double N Cowboy Church, a member of the Texas State Firefighter Assn, International Assn. of Firefighters, and Ultimate Calf Roping Assn. He was a lifelong resident of Erath County. Mickey served Erath County as an active firefighter; working as firefighter and paramedic for Stephenville Fire Department, firefighter for Erath County Fire Rescue; and volunteer firefighter for Dublin Volunteer Fire Department. Mickey is survived by his wife, Anna; children, Jodi Ann, Ryan Edwin, and Cade Michael, parents Butch and Carolyn Belew; sister, and brother-in-law, Tammy and Gene Coan; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Melani Belew; nieces and nephews, Cody, Carey, Carley, and Kenzie. The Belew family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Stephenville, Erath County, or Dublin Fire Departments, or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
