Melva Louise Guest

Melva Louise Guest, 85, of Stephenville passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Huckabay Cemetery in Huckabay. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Melva was born on November 29, 1922 in Erath County to the late Walter Jack and Henrietta Sullivan Lowe. She married Charley Levon Guest on May 24, 1940 in Stephenville and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1975. Melva has resided in Erath County most of her life. She was a member of the Huckabay Church of Christ and worked as a seamstress for Parkville Manufacturing. She is survived by son, Kenneth Guest of Huckabay; grandchildren, Tammy Montez, Bailey Guest, Amber Jolley, Eric Guest, Rachael Murphy , and Jason Evans; and six great-grandchildren Melva was preceded in death by a son Royce Guest, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
