Melissa Ann 'Missy' (Smith) Brown

Melissa Ann ‘Missy’ Smith Brown, 42, of Stephenville, died Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Graveside services for Missy will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Erath Gardens of Memory with Buddy Payne officiating.  Visitation with the Smith family will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Missy was born on November 1, 1980, in Stephenville to Billy and Betty Cowdrey Smith.  She graduated from Stephenville High School, class of 1999.  Missy was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ.  She loved her family, especially her niece and nephews.  Missy has lived most of her life in Stephenville.

Missy is survived by her parents, Billy and Betty Smith; brothers, Billy and wife Jody Smith of Keller, Floyd Smith of Lampasas, and William and wife Dana Smith of McKinney; grandmother, Jo Ann ‘Granny’ Smith; niece, Kaylee Smith; nephews, Brady, Dane, Daniel, and Dylan Smith; and her beloved dog, Maggie.
