Melanie Diane Conger

Melanie Diane Conger, 50, passed away at her home on October 5, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1973, in Anson, Texas, to Mark and Marque Knutson. After graduating high school, she received her undergraduate from Tarleton State University and later received her master’s degree from Lamar University. She had a calling in special education and worked very hard at her job, that she loved. On December 30, 1995, she married Bryan Conger in Stephenville, Texas.

Melanie is survived by her husband, Bryan Conger, her children, Maddux Conger (Cheyenne) of Fort Worth, Kaleigh Noah-Uroz (Jonah) of Buda, Jacoby Conger of Stephenville, and Jacob Allen (Jessica) of Brownwood, her grandchildren, Berkley, Briar, Bennett, and Brenham, her sister Marcie Griwicki (Kurt) of Azle, her mother, Marque Mooney (Jimmy) of Stephenville, and her grandmother, Juanda Culpepper of Stephenville.

Melanie is preceded in death by her father, Mark Knutson.
