Mary Ruth Gray Wooley November 16, 1925 - December 1, 2015 Mary Ruth Gray Wooley, 90, of Stephenville, died Tuesday, December 01, 2015 in Stephenville. Graveside services for Mary Ruth will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 5th at Erath Gardens of Memory with Mike Hannah officiating. Services are under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Mary Ruth was born on November 16, 1925 in Fort Worth to the late Lawrence P. and Eunice Golightly Gray. She married Douglas William Wooley, Sr. on June 8, 1944 in Fort Worth. Douglas preceded her in death on January 7, 1999. Mary was a member of the Baptist faith, and lived most of her life in Stephenville. She was a retired retail clerk, working for Mitchell's Department Store, Montgomery Ward, and S & H Green Stamp Store. Mary Ruth is survived by her children, Pamela and husband Larry Canaday of Rapid City, South Dakota, Penny Mac and husband Garry Randolph of Stephenville, John and wife Connie Wooley of Stephenville, and Wayne and wife Mindy Wooley of Stephenville; grandchildren, Danny Ray Canaday, Lori Lynn and husband Matthew Parette, Donald Dean and wife Magda Canaday, William Bryan and wife Christina Durant, Davona Anton and husband Bill, Stephen Randolph, John Paxton and wife Jamie Wooley, Marcus Wayne and wife Emily Wooley, Caitlyn Elizabeth Wooley, and Breanna Lauryn Wooley; great grandchildren, Breanna Danielle Canaday, Tylin Ray Hillard, Amanda Marie Parette, Samantha Lynn Parette, Jenna Elizabeth Canaday, Leah Marie Canaday, William Scott Durant, Madilyn Olivia Durant, Presley Wright Walker, Harper Renee Walker, Nicos Anton, Natasha Randolph, Madison Leah Wooley, Lawrence Gray Wooley, and Mac William Wooley; brother, Jimmy Don Gray of Dallas, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husband, Mary Ruth was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas William Wooley, Jr.; and a sister, Margaret Evans.
