Mary Nell O'Rear

Mary Nell O'Rear, 88, of Emory, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Glen Rose. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Turner Cemetery in Emory, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Mary was born on December 28, 1921 in Carrizozo, New Mexico to the late Roscoe and Mary Bell Hughes Rustin. She married William Benson O'Rear and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1977. Mary has resided in Stephenville for the past 10 years after previously living in Emory. She was a member of the Emory Church of Christ and was a Grocery Clerk. Mary is survived by a son, Ricky O'Rear of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Judy O'Rear of San Angelo; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Benson O'Rear; son, William Benson O'Rear II; granddaughter, Donna Gale O'Rear; sisters, Jessie Pearl Minter and Beulah Gray.
