Mary Nell Neal

Mary Nell Neal, 93, of Stephenville, died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services for Mary will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2023 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Mike Hannah officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.  Visitation for Mary will begin at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Friday (two hours prior to service).

Mary was born on April 20, 1930 in Olin, Hamilton County, to the late Bolding and Ruby Berta McKandles Cole.  She married G. D. Neal on June 26, 1948 in Hamilton.  G. D. preceded her in death on January 5, 2018.  Mary retired from LTV, she raised cattle, decorator, gardening, and a fabulous cook.

Mary is survived by a brother-in-law, Bobby Ratliff; sisters-in-law, Linda Cole, Mildred Cole, and Marcie Cole; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and her husband. G. D., Mary was also preceded in death by a sisters, Shirley Ratliff and Francine Cole; brothers, Jr. Cole, Wayne Cole, and Jimmy Cole.
