Mary Joyce Mcnett-Anderson

Mary Joyce McDonald McNett-Anderson July 20, 1921-June 14, 2015 Mary Joyce McDonald McNett-Anderson, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Stephenville. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Mary was born on July 20, 1921 in Gorman, Texas to the late Hub and Iva Wilhite McDonald. She was a long time resident of Georgetown, Texas and most recently, Desdemona, Texas. Mary married George L. McNett and lived in Dharan, Saudi Arabia, where George worked for ARAMCO Oil Company. She loved to travel and spent time traveling with her husband to various countries around the world. Upon retirement and return to the United States, she became an RVer and enjoyed driving her big truck and fifth wheel around the country and was still doing so at the age of 90. Mary attended school in Desdemona and graduated high school in Artesia, N.M. She was a housewife and had a long, full life. Survivors include her grandchildren, Owen, David, Shannon, Michael, Tracy McNett and Michelle Wilde and several great-grandchildren Beside her parents Mary was preceded in death by her two husbands, George L. McNett and William Anderson; two sisters, Betty Zaloudek and Mildred McCroan; two sons, George McNett and Herbert McNett.
