Mary Lou Jowers

Mary Lou Green Jowers, 48, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Duffau Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home Mary was born April 24, 1960 in Abilene to N. L. and Joyce Neagle Green. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and a life long resident of Stephenville. She is now rejoicing with the lord. Mary was a machine operator for Schreiber Food Co. until she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Mary was the loving mother of three beautiful girls, a step-son, and many adopted children. Survivors include her soulmate, Joe Lowe of Stephenville; three daughters, Tephney Jowers and fiancé Shane McMurry of Stephenville; Tresia and husband Justin Pack of Stephenville, and Toni and husband David Gonzales of Austin; son, James Lowe of Stephenville; father, N. L. Green of Stephenville; brothers Billy Green of Stephenville and Leonard Green of Odessa; sisters, Nita Dupnik of Stephenville and Tresia and Carter Combs of Wyoming; brothers, Billy Green of Stephenville, and Leonard Green and wife Etta of Dallas; grandchildren, Kara Traweek, Ashley Traweek, Taylor Cover, Dillon Andress, Kaine Pack, Anthony Gonzales, and Alexis Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her mother Janet Joyce Green, and by a grandson, Alex Richard Gonzales. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
