Mary Geneva "Geat" Goodman

Mary Geneva ‘Geat' Goodman, 88, of Stephenville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Johnsville Cemetery with Don Middleton officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Mary was born on August 26, 1925 in Erath County, Texas to the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Watson Pack. Mary married Robert C. ‘Jack' Goodman on February 5, 1944 in Erath County. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2008. Mary lived in Erath County most of her life and was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. She worked in Environmental Services at TSU and was a homemaker. Mary is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ellis of Austin; grandchildren, Eric Goodman, Tasha Bryant, and Blaze Bryant; several great grandchildren; a sister, Odelia Goodwin; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Shirley Pack; and sister, Agnes Ledbetter.
