Mary Etta (Midge) Golliday

Mary Etta (Midge) Golliday, 87, died April 30, 2011 at her home with her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Ms. Golliday was born April 18, 1924, in Marble Falls, TX to the late Vonder and Nettie K Ramsdell O'Hair. She married Shepherd (Shep) Golliday on March 3, 1940 in Lampasas, Tx. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2004. She was a member of the Stephenville First Baptist Church, and had resided in Stephenville since 1958. She worked at the Stephenville Hospital in the Dietary Department for 26 years. Survivors include: John Golliday of Big Lake, TX; David Golliday of Stephenville, Tx; Nettie Davis Geistweidt and husband Joe David of Glen Rose, Tx; Cindy Golliday of Cleburne, Tx; Special Niece, Diana Shellenberger; Grandchildren: Amber Golliday, April Davis, Colt Davis, Shep Golliday, Chad Edwards, Gayla DeLay, Jana Hendrick, Jeff Geistweidt. Great-grandchildren: Justin Golliday, Macy Edwards, Destiny Edwards, Garrett Golliday, Hannah Hankins, Justin Hankins, Juliann DeLay, Kindalyn Davis, Lucas DeLay, Creedence Hankins, Khloe Davis, and Lillie DeLay. She was preceded in death by a grandson John T. Golliday.
