Mary Louise (Nachtigall) Engler

Mary Louise Engler, 91, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Duffau Cemetery.
Mary was born on September 10, 1927 in Alexander to the late Christian Charles and Wannell Forson Nachtigall. She worked for many years as the cake decorator at Buddies\ Win Dixie grocery stores. She is a lifelong resident of Erath County and a member of the Harvey Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Trina Burkhart and husband Vonder of Marietta, OK, Johnnye Engler of Stephenville, and Sharon McNutt and husband Gary of Dublin; grandchildren, Dustin Burkhart of Ardmore, OK, Tina Burkhart of Marietta, OK, and Mica Rudd and husband Michael of Stephenville; great-grandchildren, Jackson Rudd, Cooper Rudd, Myles Rudd, and Nolan Rudd; aunt, Helen Jones of Stephenville; sister, Jo Ann Rainwater and husband Alton of Hico; brother, Ronnie Nachtigall and wife Judy of Hico; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Winnie Nachtigall; sister, Peggy Helen McLean; brothers, Max E. Nachtigall and Christian Nachtigall, Jr.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Choices P.O. Box 163 Stephenville, Texas 76401.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Stephenville Nursing and Rehab for the loving care given to our Mother "Granny" for the past four years, and also to Mission Hospice for the care they have shown our family.
