Mary Elizabeth Cates, 95, of Stephenville passed away Thursday October 4, 2012 in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held Friday October 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Exray Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth was born on February 18, 1917 to the late Andrew Kelsie Wylie and Mary Louella Fulfer in Erath County. She married Rex Cates on December 13, 1937 in Dublin. He preceded her in death May 23, 1996. Mary Elizabeth was a homemaker, antique dealer, and a lifelong resident of Erath County. Mary Elizabeth is survived by several nieces and nephews.
