Marva Janine Smith

Marva Janine Smith, 53, of Huckabay, died Wednesday September 16, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Pugh and Gary Williams officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Janine was born in Dallas on April 29, 1956. She married Jim Smith on March 25, 1978 in Huckabay. She was a member of Huckabay Baptist Church and has resided in Erath County since 1979. She was a Librarian Aide. Survivors include her husband, Jim Smith of Huckabay; mother and step-father, Janis Nadine and Bob Crowder of Lake Texoma; sons, Anthony James Smith of Georgia; Tanner Wayne Smith of Huckabay; daughter, Jessica Nicole Smith of Huckabay; grandson, Viktor William Smith of Georgia; sister, Cindy Shipman and husband Mark of Huckabay; numerous nieces and nephews including her niece Stacey Renee Polk and husband Jeremy. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin William Sharp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Huckabay School Library or to Huckabay Baptist Church's Building Fund.
